There are so many facets of your position.  Do you know where to go for guidance? This team will familiarize you with school policies, procedures, and master agreements/CBAs. Identify association provided tools and resources from IISM, MTSBA and MASBO and various vendors. Know where to find laws and administrative rules, (MCA, ARM, and CFR), guidance from the OPI and NAFIS.  Navigate when to reach out to your Superintendent, your Board, County Treasurer, and the County Superintendent. And what do all these acronyms mean…..

IMPACT AID AND VARIOUS GRANT APPLICATION PROCESSES
Impact Aid is a major funding source.  Obtain tips and tricks that will increase your funding, track students accurately, and ensure your applications are correct and on time.

FEDERAL PROGRAMS
Grant tracking and end of year reporting can be daunting and have lasting implications for your school’s financial health. Find new tools and procedures that will help you track, manage and close out grant funding and clean up your Fund 15.

MONTHLY RECONCILIATIONS AND BANKING OPTIONS
Learn about reconciliation tools, the importance of monthly balancing, reconciliation to the Treasurer’s office, and key considerations for banking outside of the Treasurer. 

PANEL DISCUSSION WITH ALL PRESENTERS AND PARTNERS
Bring your questions and we will work together to guide you to a solution.  Topics already submitted include HB203 implications for impact aid as well as future meeting and training possibilities. We will provide a “fishbowl” format for this portion of the meeting, allowing members on-site to submit questions anonymously if they so choose.  Zoom participants may utilize the chat option to submit a question.
