2025 MASBO PAYROLL WORKSHOP

AGENDA

This two-day training, hosted at the MTSBA building in Helena, is designed to support school business professionals with practical, in-depth payroll knowledge. Day one will focus on comprehensive topic-based training led by the MASBO Payroll Committee—experienced professionals dedicated to supporting accurate and efficient payroll practices across Montana schools.

Day two will feature sessions with school payroll software vendors to enhance user understanding and address specific system questions.
Lunch will be provided for in-person participants. While virtual access is available, interactive features may be limited. Participants are encouraged to bring a computer and all necessary login credentials to make the most of the hands-on learning experience. Special thanks to MTSBA for generously providing the training space, and to our software partners, Black Mountain Software, C&C Accounting, and Tyler Technologies for supporting our members in professional development.  

REGISTRATION OPTIONS PER ATTENDEE:
$260: In person (lunch included both days) - $40 cancellation fee to cover lunches, if cancelled less than 5 days prior.
$220  Zoom or copy of the recording only 

• All attendees will receive the zoom link the day prior, in case anything changes
• All registered attendees will receive both days of the workshop recording*
• Presentation slides will be posted on the MASBO website under the resources tab (log in required)

Please do NOT share the recording. 
If a co-worker could benefit from the recording please register them as well.

Zoom/Recording Attendees: 
Join us by zoom for any or all of the workshop if you can.  No registration adjustment needed to switch between zoom/recording. 

In-Person Attendees:
If anything changes and you need to zoom or get the recording instead, please let me know as soon as possible for food/beverage counts.
We will switch your registration to zoom/recording. No refund would be given if less than days prior to workshop, to cover both lunches ordered.

• Enter from the west door facing the parking lot
• The lot outside the west door has a 2-hour limit. We recommend parking in the parking garage off 14th (From Lyndale, turn south on Getchell (by the Brewhouse), take a left onto 14^th and the entrance is on the right. 
• Lunch will be provided for those attending in person. Please email Marie any dietary restrictions at least a week before the workshop, so arrangements can be made.
